The American author Daniel Handler (born February 28, 1970) is known by the pen name Lemony Snicket. Several children’s books have been written and published under the name Handler, most notably A Series of Unfortunate Events, which has sold over 60 million copies and inspired a 2004 movie and a 2017–2019 TV series. In addition, Lemony Snicket plays the roles of the protagonist in the four-part All the Wrong Questions book series and the fictional narrator of A Series of Unfortunate Events.
