Compilation of 7 Abubakar Tafawa Balewa quotes.
Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa was born on December 15, 1912, and died on January 15, 1966. He was a Nigerian politician who served as the country’s first and only Prime Minister upon independence.
Balewa, like many other leaders, was ousted and murdered in a military coup on January 15, 1966. The circumstances of his death are still unknown. Six days after he was removed from office, his body was discovered on a roadway in Lagos.
